Delivery Driver — Full-Time

Join our growing fleet of delivery drivers serving Greater Edmonton. You’ll run a daily route of 140–180 packages, use our driver app for navigation and scanning, and represent the Pigeon Post brand at every door.

What you’ll do:

  • Complete daily assigned delivery route (150–180 stops)
  • Scan and photograph every delivery for proof of delivery
  • Communicate with dispatch for exceptions and re-routes
  • Complete daily vehicle inspection (DVIR)
  • Maintain professionalism at all customer interactions

Requirements:

  • Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license (no major violations in 3 years)
  • Clean criminal record check
  • Smartphone capable of running delivery apps
  • Ability to lift up to 30 kg regularly
  • Comfortable with a physically active role outdoors in all Alberta weather

Looking for flexible work that fits around your schedule? Our part-time and on-call driver roles offer 2–4 shifts per week, with the option to pick up additional shifts during peak periods.

The Dispatch Coordinator is the nerve centre of Pigeon Post daily operations. You’ll start your shift at 5:00 AM, manage route assignments for 10–20 drivers, monitor live delivery progress, and handle exceptions in real-time.

  • 1+ year experience in logistics, dispatch, or fleet coordination
  • Strong problem-solving under time pressure
  • Proficiency with routing software (training provided)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Comfortable with early morning start times (5:00 AM shift)

Operations Manager

The Operations Manager owns the daily and strategic performance of Pigeon Post’s delivery operations. This is a senior hire who will build the systems, manage the team, and scale the operation from 5 to 20+ routes over the next 18 months.

  • 3+ years in logistics operations, ideally last-mile delivery
  • Experience managing teams of 10+ employees
  • Strong analytical skills — KPI-driven management style
  • Familiarity with route optimization tools and fleet management
  • Amazon DSP experience a strong asset
  • Available for early morning operations oversight
